SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions

UTB upholds the values of peace, integrity, and good governance through activities that strengthen institutional frameworks and nurture responsible, ethical leadership. From the launching of the UTB Strategic Plan 2024–2028 to student leadership achievements and initiatives promoting civic engagement, the university fosters a culture of transparency, participation, and unity. UTB also actively celebrates national pride and spiritual values through events such as National Day ceremonies, Doa Kesyukuran, and Quranic recitations, reinforcing its alignment with Brunei Darussalam’s principles of Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB). These initiatives reflect UTB’s commitment to building a peaceful and inclusive community rooted in justice, faith, and shared responsibility.
