With the 40th National Day Celebration of Brunei Darussalam, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) campus.
The Guest of Honour at the event was the Vice-Chancellor of UTB, Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman. Also in attendance were the Assistant Vice-Chancellors, UTB’s Principal Officers, staff and students at the university.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by the handing over of the national flag by the Guest of Honour to the Flag-Hoisting Lead, 94000 SSJN KT Muhammad Nur Tharwan bin Hamzah.
The flag was then hoisted by members of the UTB Army Cadet, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem, ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’ by all present at the ceremony.
