The inclusion of special needs or differently-abled students at Universiti Teknologi Brunei is a core priority. The University is commited to ensuring equal access to learning, facilities, and campus life by providing inclusive support systems, accessible infrastructure, and tailored assistance to maximise each student's potential.

Our University is committed in providing disability-friendly courses, campus, activities and services accessible to students with disabilities. This includes physical access facilities as mentioned below.

(1) Barrier-Free Ramps

Wheel-chair friendly ramps are installed alongside stairways to provide safe and convenient access to buildings

(2) Lift Access Points and Accessible Lift Interior

Clearly marked and easily accessible lifts featuring reachable control panels for wheelchair users are available across buildings for mobility support

(3) Reserved Accessible Parking

Dedicated parking spaces are located close to building entrances to support people with mobility needs

(4) Accessible Wayfinding & Disability Signage

The campus features clear and recognisable accessibility signage, including internationally understood disability symbols. These signs help students easily locate key facilities such as lifts, ramps, accessible parking, and restrooms, ensuring a more inclusive and user-friendly environment.

For urgent appointments, you may drop by the Welfare Office at GF.70. We are staffed by one full-time Welfare Officer from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday- Thursday and Saturday.
