Tests may be carried out for the quality control of materials or for its compliance with a local or international standard such as PBD 3: 1992 or BS 4449: 2005 + A2:2009 or ISO 6935: 2007. A test report will be issued on each batch of materials according to the conditions set out by Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

In case the material is required to be tested according to a local or international standard, a statement of compliance/ non-compliance of the material with the standard will be given in the report. Detail results, data and graphs of the tests may also be provided if requested.
