Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) organised UTB Open Day 2022 for two (2) days at the Multi-purpose Hall, Phase 3 of the University campus. This event allows prospective students to interact directly with the lectures and staff to gain more insights on UTB’s academic programmes.
The UTB Open Day 2022 was also an opportunity for the public to find out more about UTB's new programme starting the Academic Year 2022/2023 – MSc in Cyber Security (Full-time & Part-time) under School of Computing and Informatics. UTB's satellite partners from Micronet International College, Kolej IGS and Kemuda Institute also joined the UTB Open Day 2022. Other organisation who joined the event include Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad (BSP) and Imagine Sdn Bhd.
Considering the current situation of COVID-19 in the country, UTB Open Day 2022 was held adhering to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). It is required for all visitors including staff and students to do Antigen Rapid Test (ART) upon entering the venue. Everyone was required to wear their face masks and practice physical distancing at all times.
