All applicants (except in-service applicants)

All applications (EXCEPT in-service applicants) must be made ONLINE through the HECAS portal.

What SHOULD you do after submitting your online application?

For the purpose of verification and record, UTB requires all applicants to submit the following:

 

Bruneian and Permanent Residents:

  1. 1 sets of the completed HECAS application form (hard copy)
  2. 1 copies of identity card
  3. 1 verified copies of academic certificates and
  4. 1 verified copies of other relevant or supporting documents

 

Foreign Residents:

  1. 2 sets of the completed HECAS application form (hard copy)
  2. 2 copies of the identity card
  3. 2 verified copies of academic certificates and
  4. 2 verified copies of other relevant or supporting documents

Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Only applicants who have fulfilled the entry requirements will be called for the entrance test(s), and interview, where applicable.

Note: This procedure applies to applicants who are Brunei citizens (YELLOW IC) or Permanent Residents (RED or PURPLE IC) and foreign residents in Brunei with GREEN IC.

 

In-service applicants

In-service applicants and those who are employed are required to apply through the online application (Apply@UTB) 

Each applicant is to complete ONE application form only. A photocopy of the application form is to be submitted to Universiti Teknologi Brunei before the deadline. Whereas the Original copy of the application form is to be submitted directly to UTB by the respective Head of Department/ Employer together with a “Confidential Report”.

All copies of certificates and documents attached to application forms are to be certified by the respective Head of Department/ Employer.

The photocopy of the application form together with all copies of certificates and related documents attached are to be submitted directly to UTB before the deadline.

Only applicants who have fulfilled the entry requirements will be called for the entrance test(s), and interview, where applicable.
