Dr. Judy Lee, Associate Professor and Director of Teaching and Learning at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Surrey paid a visit to the Petroleum and Chemical Engineering of UTB.

Present to welcome Judy Lee were Professor Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Deputy Dean (Research) of Faculty of Engineering; Dr Karri Rama Rao, Senior Assistant Professor of Faculty of Engineering; Dr Mohammad Hazwan Azri, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering and Programme Leader of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering; Dr Khairunnisa Nabilah binti Hj Ruslan, Lecturer of Chemical Engineering; Dr Wendy Pei Qin Ng, Lecturer of Chemical Engineering and Deputy Director of Corporate Communications Office; and Dr Yap Yok Hoe, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and Dean of Quality Assurance Unit.

The visit was a part of the Royal Society International Exchange Scheme, in which Professor Sivakumar Manickam is also participating. The scheme provides a flexible platform for United Kingdom based scientists to interact with scientists all over the world. In addition, through bilateral visits, it investigates opportunities to establish long-term networks or strengthen emerging collaborations. Furthermore, the scheme’s goal is to encourage new collaborations between scientists in the UK and abroad.
