Professor Hiroki Oue, Dean of The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University, Japan visited the Centre of Innovative Engineering (CIE) of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB).
Present to welcome Professor Oue were Dr Heru Susanto, Director of Centre for Innovative Engineering (CIE); Dr Wida Susanty Haji Suhaili, Deputy Director of CIE; Dr Syazana Abdullah Lim, Director of Center for Research on AgriFood Science and Technology (CrAFT); Dr Nor Asiah binti Muhamad, Deputy Director of CrAFT; Dr Shahriar Shams, member of CIE; and Dr Hong Shyang Pei, Lecturer from School of Applied Sciences and Mathematics (SASM).
The team discussed potential research in the field of Information Technology for Agriculture, as well as the possibility of joint research between UTB Research Centers and the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences (UGAS), Ehime University. Ehime University also offers PhD scholarships to UTB staff and prospective students.
