A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) championed by the Faculty of Engineering and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) held virtually via Zoom hosted by UTHM.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by welcoming remark by Yang Mulia Professor Ts. Azmie Khamis, UTHM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academic and International Office followed by a remark by Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, UTB Vice-Chancellor. The event then proceeded with the virtual signing of the MoU.
Signing on behalf of UTB was UTB Vice-Chancellor, witnessed by Yang Mulia Mr Lim Chui Hua, Registrar and Secretary. Representing UTHM was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, witnessed Yang Mulia Abdul Halim bin Abdul Rahman, Registrar / Chief Operating Officer of UTHM.
Scopes of cooperation under the signed MoU include student exchange; academic exchange; joint research on scientific and technological subjects; joint organisation of symposiums and lectures; and other collaborations in related fields.
