On the Final day of UTB-STE Connect 2023, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) hosted the Women Leadership Workshop as part of the featured event of UTB-STE Connect 2023. The event was held at the Press Conference Room of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas.

The workshop was facilitated by Yang Mulia Professor Datin Dr Norizan binti Abdul Razak, Professor in Digital Literacy and E-Learning, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

The Women Leadership Workshop featured a comprehensive curriculum with four distinct modules designed to equip attendees with valuable insights and skills to excel in leadership roles.

The first module, ‘Strategic Planning and Work-Life Balance for Leaders’ delved into the intricacies of strategic planning and the art of balancing work and life, crucial skills for effective leadership.

The second module, ‘Effective Leadership Traits and Skills’ explored the essential traits and skills that define effective leaders, offering practical strategies for attendees to enhance their leadership abilities.

Whereas the third module, ‘Intercultural Communication’ focused on the nuances of intercultural communication, a vital aspect of leadership in today's globalised world.

The fourth and final module, ‘Effective Technology Usage for Leaders’ provided significant tools into harnessing technology to facilitate leadership, enhancing productivity, and fostering innovation.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in insightful discussions, practical exercises, and interactive learning experiences, which empowered them to overcome the unique challenges that women leaders often face.

The Women Leadership Workshop is part of UTB's ongoing commitment to promoting diversity and gender equality in leadership roles. By providing a platform for women to enhance their leadership skills, UTB is contributing to the development of a more inclusive and progressive society.
