22 April 2025 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) welcomed a delegation from Polytechnic University of the Philippines visit to discuss potential future partnerships.
The delegation from Polytechnic University of the Philippines included Dr. Julieta G. Fonte, College Dean; Noel A. Bergonia, Chairperson, Department of Accountancy; Marietta M. Doquenia, Chairperson, Dept. of Management Accounting; Dr. Catherine D. Sotto, OJT and Quality Assurance Coordinator; Dr. Andrea Rose E. Rimorin, Chief, QMS Monitoring and Evaluation Section; Mark Anecito R. Perlas, Chief, Innovations and Technology Support Office; Jonald P. Binaluyo, Assistant Professor; Dr. Ruth P. Carlos, Associate professor; Reynan C. Murtos, Assistant Professor; and Rhenz Nicole C. Parada, Assistant. The visit aimed to foster a relationship between the two institutions and explore opportunities for student exchange, joint academic programmes.
UTB was represented by Dr Ulaganathan Subramanian, Accounting Programme Leader, Pg Abdul Mutalib bin Pg Haji Kamalludin, Accounting Deputy Programme Leader; Radin Jefri bin Radin Mas Basiuni, Economics Programme Leader; and Mohd Rozaidin bin Dr Haji Md Serudin, Management Deputy Programme Leader.
During the meeting, both institutions discussed ways to strengthen ties in education. They explored opportunities for academic partnerships and collaborations, highlighting the potential for working together to enhance learning experiences and global connections.
