When the second wave of the pandemic hit the sultanate in August 2021, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) has fully shifted to online learning ever since as the pandemic has impacted students with their learning experiences.
Following the Covid-19 Donation Drive 2.0 held on 17 September 2021, UTB has taken the initiative in organising the UTB Laptop Donation, which aims to support students in need and those who required educational devices for online learning during the pandemic.
The laptop donation organised by the Student Affairs Office aimed to ease students' overall learning experience and continue striving for excellence with their academics. The UTB Laptop Donation was collected amongst the university staff only, which took place from 27 October to 2 November 2021.
At the event, the laptops were handed by Dk Norhafizah binti Pg Muhammad, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs Office, to the selected recipients.
