22 May 2023 – UTB's Vice-Chancellor, Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, attended the Donation Presentation Ceremony for Republic of Turkey and Syrian Arab Republic Earthquake Humanitarian Fund at Dewan Gadong, Ministry of Youth Culture and Sports along with representatives from the Ministry of Education, other Higher Education Institutions, and various organisations.
The donation was received by the Minister of Youth Culture and Sports, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad.
UTB generously contributed approximately BND3,000 to the donation fund. These funds will be utilised to offer immediate assistance, including emergency medical services, shelter, food supplies, and other vital resources to the affected communities.
