UTB organised a special religious talk in observance of Ilal Hijrah 1445H, commemorating the Hijrah (migration) of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from Makkah to Madinah. The event took place at the University’s Concourse Hall organised by the Religious Unit, Student Affairs Office.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB. Also in attendance were the Principal Officers, lectureres, staffs and students of the University.
During the event, a religious talk entitled Ugama Dipelihara, Negara Sejahtera was delivered by Yang Mulia Ustazah Dr Dyg Hajah Ummi Faízah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, Assistant Professor, Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).
The event continued with Dzikir Marhaban celebrating UTB staffs and students who recently came back from Hajj before concluding with a Doa Selamat.
