In conjunction with the UTB Convocation Festival 2022, the UTB Student Represent Council 2022/2023 (Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar UTB 2022/2023) organised the UTB Carnival 2022. The launching ceremony took place this morning at the Common Engineering Block (CEB) Building, Phase 3, UTB. The carnival will take place for two consecutive days from 27 to 28 August 2022.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Yang Mulia Awang Muhd Zawir Firdaus bin Zamrani, Head of ExCo Religious and Spiritual Affairs UTB 2022/2023. Followed by a welcoming remark by Yang Mulia Dayangku Nursyarah Waznah binti Pengiran Haji Suhaili, Chairperson of UTB Carnival2022. The event followed by the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, UTB Vice-Chancellor launching the UTB Carnival 2022. The Guest of Honour then visited the carnival activities. Also present during the event were principal officers, staffs, students of the university.The event was also opened to the public.
Activities of the carnival include Animal Showcase, Henna, Face-Painting, Bubbles, Archery, Water Sponge Dodgeball, Baby Rattle, Movin on Up, Separation Anxiety, This Blow, Floatacious, Yank Me, Spoon Frog, Toilet Paper Pull, Guess the Candies/Marbles, Elimination Pong, Ring Toss, Dart Pop, Guess Where, Bottle Flip,
Hat Throw, Hoop Goal, and 4 in a row.
