Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and SynergenOG (B) Sendirian Berhad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the commencement of a strategic collaboration between the university and industry. The event was held virtually through the Zoom platform.
The event commenced with the recitation of Sural Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a welcoming remark by Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB and remarks by Yang Mulia Puvan Balasubramaniam, Co-Founder and Principal of SynergenOG Sdn Bhd.
The event proceeded with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding, with the UTB Vice-Chancellor representing the university and the Co-Founder and Principal of SynergenOG (B) Sdn Bhd signing on behalf of the industry. The MoU solidifies the mutual commitment to collaborate in the spheres of academic excellence, research, and training programmes.
