30 June 2025 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) welcomed distinguished delegates from Morrocco and Myanmar, marking a significant milestone in international education cooperation. The visit by Pr. Blaïd Bougadir, President of Cadi Ayyad University, and His Excellency Dr Zaw Miynt, Vice Minister Educationof the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, underscores the growing commitment to academic collaboration and educational excellence.
The discussions focused on expanding educational partnerships, research collaboration, and student and staff mobility.
Also in attendance were Ms Amina Goujjani, Head of Unit Cooperation with International Organisations; Mr. Ssaid Daoudi, Head of Division of Public University Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation Morocco respectively; and Dr Kyaw Tun Naing, Senior Officer to the Vice Minister Education of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The visit sets the foundation for long-term partnerships that will benefit students, faculty, and researchers across both regions. Both Institutions expressed commitment on sustainable educational partnerships that transcend geographical boundaries and contribute to global knowledge sharing and innovation.
