> SCI STUDENTS AWARDED THE CERTIFIED ETHICAL HACKER

Eleven students from the School of Computing and Informatics, UTB, registered, trained, and successfully passed the four-hour Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH, V11) exam. The exam was conducted online by Intellize Tech Services Sendirian Berhad, Malaysia, Regional partner for EC-Council of United States America on 9 September 2022. This CEH is highly recognised by the ICT industries in Brunei and around the world.

Dr. P. Ravi Kumar, a certified EC-Council Trainer, Deputy Dean of SCI, and Assistant Professor of Computer Network and Security Programme (CNS), led the five-day training.

Awang Vincentius Billy Devanandha, MSc in Information Security student, scored perfect score in the exam. Meanwhile, Abdul Muqsit Bin Haji Jafari, BSc in Computer and Information Security student, scored 99%. This certification was opened to all UTB students and staff under School of Computing and Informatics.

Other Certified Ethical Hackers include students undertaking MSc in Information Security: Muhammad Afiq Amirul Elfri,  Noor Afiqah Maisarah binti Noor Azlin, and Mohamad Zuhair Arif bin Shahrum. Also, students undertaking BSc in Computer and Information Security: Suhrawardiy bin Shaádon, Syahirah Nadirah binti Haji Azman, Khairul Asmaan bin Mohamed Yusof, Nur Arina Sabrina binti Haji Alimeey, Haziqah Hasyimah binti Haji Awang Omar, and Nurulain binti Mohd Zinin.
