Quranic Beats Club of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) organised a Qiamullail programme with the theme Tujuan Hidup Sebenar in collaboration with the Religious and Spiritual Affairs Alumni (EKKA) Guild of Graduates Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Religious and Spiritual Affairs Students’ Representative Council UBD (EKK PMUBD), and Universiti Mosque Youth UBD. Sixty-five youths participated in the two-day programme from 10 to 11 December 2022 held at the University Mosque, Tungku Link, Gadong.
On the first day, the event commenced with mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer followed by an inspiring talk entitled ‘Tujuan Hidup Sebenar’ delivered by Yang Mulia Haji Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghafar, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA). It was subsequently followed by a mass Fardhu Isya prayer, and a motivational sharing session delivered by Yang Mulia Awang Muhd Muizzuddin Asyur bin Awang Mat Japar, student of National Diploma in Daíe and Leadership of UNISSA It concluded with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Mulk.
On the second day, a mass Tahajjud prayer, Fardhu Fajr prayer, and a motivational talk entitled ‘Pengorbanan Yang Diredhai Allah’ by Yang Mulia Ustaz Awang Muhammad Yussof bin Haji Abdul Majid, guest speaker from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Special Duties Officer Grade II
A team building session was also held at the event which concluded with certificate presentation delivered by the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Imam Mohd Amirul Rahmad bin Haji Mohammad, Imam of the University Mosque, UBD.
The programme aims to foster strong spirituality amongst youths.
