A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UTB and Yunus Emre Institute (YEI), Türkiye. The event was held at the Main Conference Room of UTB.
Signing on behalf of UTB was Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB and Professor Dr Seref Ates, President of YEI. Representing as witness for UTB was Mr Lim Chui Hua, Registrar and Secretary of UTB and YEI was His Excellency Professor Dr Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Republic of Türkiye to Brunei Darussalam.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by video presentation of an introduction to both UTB and YEI.
The event proceeded with remarks from UTB Vice-Chancellor and the Ambassador of The Republic of Türkiye to Brunei Darussalam.
Scopes of cooperation include exchange of academic for both staff and students to assist in training, coaching, and learning between both UTB and YEI; exchange of academics for teaching and research; joint supervision and others.
