In conjunction with Ma’al Hijrah 1444H, UTB hosted a special talk to commemorate the Hijrah (migration) of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from Makkah to Madinah. The event was held at the University’s Concourse Hall organised by the Religious Unit, Student Affairs Office.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Dr Hajah Ena Kartina binti Haji Abdul Rahman, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of UTB. Also in attendance were the Principal Officers, lecturers, staffs and students of the University.
A religious talk entitled Bersabar, Berikhriar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian: Memacu Wawasan Negara was delivered by Yang Mulia Ustaz Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, Head of Corporate Communication Centre of Public Relations and International, Universiti Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).
The event continued with Dzikir Marhaban celebrating UTB staffs and students who recently came back from Hajj before concluding with a Doa Selamat.
