UTB School of Business (UTBSB) hosted a talk entitled ‘Entrepreneurship talk: Funding opportunity’ at the Lecture Theater 3 of the university.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Dr. Fadzliwati Mohiddin, Dean of UTBSB.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by presentations from the invited guest speakers.
The first speaker was Yang Mulia Aidil Salleh, Founder of JanaKapital presented on ‘Crowdfunding As Alternative Financing for the MSMEs’. The second speaker, Yang Mulia Associate Professor Dr. Hakimah Yaacob, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) spoke on ‘Business funding via Islamic finance’. The third speaker was Mr. Jason Tse Tow, Financing Specialist, Darusssalam Enterprise, presented ‘DARe Co-Matching Scheme: MSME Financing Unit’.
The event proceeded with a panel discussion moderated by Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Kamariah Ismail, Economics Programme Area, UTBSB.
The panel discussion ended with a question and answer session and the event concluded with the recitation of doa selamat.
