A Graduate Research Students End of Year Gathering was organised by the Graduate Studies and Research Office (GSRO) UTB, held at the training room, UTB Library.
The aim of the event was to inspire research students by providing them with motivation and determination to excel in the upcoming year. It was also to acknowledge the students’ hard work and devotion to their research endeavors. It was hoped that the event would inspire research students to begin the new year with greater motivation.
The event commenced with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Awang Muhammad Khaliq Syafie bin Md Don, PhD in Teaching and Learning. This was followed by a sharing session of ‘My PhD Journey in UTB’ presented by Dr Siti Nur Afiqah Wajihah Syahindah binti Haji Marali, a graduate in PhD in Applied Mathematics and Economics.
About forty graduate research students and GSRO staff attended the event. Puan Hajah Rosita binti Haji Awang Hassan, UTB council member who is also enrolled as a PhD student at the School of Computing and Informatics, was among the attendees
