Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) received a courtesy visit from the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, Yang Mulia His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah. Together with him was Mohd Rizal Saliken, First Secretary, High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam.
His Excellency and entourage were welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor of UTB, Yang Mulia Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman; Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Dr Hajah Ena Kartina binti Haji Abdul Rahman; Assistant Vice-Chancellors (Industry and Services), Dr. Mohamad Saiful bin Haji Omar; and Deputy Director of Corporate and Communications Office, Pengiran Dr Rafidah bin Pengiran Haji Petra.
The visit discussed and exchanged views on some of the important and potential scopes of cooperation between Malaysia and UTB particularly in the areas of education and research.
This was followed by a book donation where a total of 45 Malay books were handed over during the visit.
