UTB participated at the showcase and exhibition of the 17th National Youth Day 2022 held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam visited UTB’s showcase given the name Design and Build of an Autonomous Electric Catamaran Boat. The showcase was presented by Muhammad Akmal Hafizin bin Haji Mohd Tarif and Zulfadhli Zikri bin Haji Zakaria students undertaking Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
Together with His Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah. The Vice-Chancellor of UTB, Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, was also present.
