25 June 2019 – UTB received a visit yesterday from the Livicon Ltd. Co., Korea at the Main Conference of the University.
Leading the delegation was Yang Mulia Professor Young Jae Jeon, Chief Executive Officer of Livicon Ltd. Co. along with representatives from Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Action and Support Centre (FAST) from Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB). The delegation was welcomed by Yang Mulia Dr. Au Thien Wan, Acting Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and relevant Principal Officers of UTB.
During the visit, Livicon Ltd. Co. presented their polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLCD), a kind of liquid crystal display product that has an ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) screening function. UTB and Livicon Ltd. Co. also explored and discussed possible areas of collaboration in the areas of academic exchanges as well as research and development.
