In 2008, a monumental transformation occurred as ITB attained university status and was renamed Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB). This transition marked Brunei’s unwavering commitment to advancing education and research in technology and engineering. UTB continued to offer a diverse range of programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. With this new identity, UTB’s campus also underwent significant development, boasting state-of-the-art facilities, modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, research centres, and a dynamic student community.
