On 1st December 2014, the Honourable Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office made a visit to ITB Library. The Honourable Pehin then toured the library and the 360º Café accompanied by Associate Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of ITB.

Mr Glyn Jones, from Elsevier (Oxford) and Dr Melinda Taylor from University of Southampton made a visit to the University Library on 7 August 2014. The purpose of the visit was to tour the Library and meet the Librarian. They were welcomed and briefed by Awang Osman Haji Suhaile, Library Officer.

On 26 July 2014, the first group of student intake had an orientation at the new University Library. The Library received groups of the new students in conjunction with this year’s ITB Orientation Programme. The students were briefed on the library’s collections, services, facilities by Dayang Hajah Pusparaini Haji Thani, Senior Librarian and the groups later toured the library.
