The module covers the following topics:
- Data mining basic concepts, data pre-processing, classification, regression, clustering, association rules, and models’ evaluation.
- Emphasis will be given to real-world applications that utilize fundamental techniques of knowledge discovery and data mining, to implementation issues and practical challenges, as well as to some results at the data mining research frontier.
