2 July 2020 – A discussion on a future project collaboration between Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Amarco Services Sdn. Bhd. was held today at the Main Conference Room, UTB. The discussion was attended by His Excellency Christian Ramage, Ambassador of France to Brunei Darussalam; Yang Mulia Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB; and Yang Mulia Mr Jean Fouquet, the Chief Executive Officer of the Amarco Group.
The discussion began with a brief presentation by Yang Mulia Professor Dr Beston Nore, Director of Center of Research for AgriFood Science and Technology (CrAFT), on the centre. It was followed by a presentation of the conceptual ideas for the project by Yang Mulia Mr Jean Fouquet. According to Mr Fouquet, Amarco is thrilled to work with UTB on this project, as it will leverage each other’s competencies, experiences, human resources and expertise.
A similar presentation also took place at the Lecture Theatre 2, in the presence of Principal Officers and researchers of UTB. During the event, UTB staff had the opportunity to exchange ideas, and suggestions for future plans with the presenters.
