UTB SIGNS WITH KIGS TO PROVIDE UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE ENTRY PATHWAY

13 July 2019 – A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was inked between Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) to provide prospective students with Undergraduate Degree Entry Pathway – ‘UTB-SP Bridging Programme’. The signing ceremony was held at the Business Marketing and Communication Centre (BMCC) of KIGS, Kiulap.

Signing on behalf of KIGS was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Yang Mulia Dr. Azaharaini bin Haji Mohd Jamil, while UTB was represented by the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Yang Mulia Dr. Hajah Noor Maya binti Haji Md Salleh. The signing was witnessed by Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Mohd Yamin bin Pengiran Setia Jaya Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin, the Acting Chairman Board of Directors of KIGS.

Also present at the event were the Board of Directors of KIGS, Principal Officers, staff and students of UTB and KIGS.

The agreement entails the UTB-Satellite Partners (SP) Bridging Programme, which is the Bridging for Business (BriBUS) offered by the UTB and KIGS. Under this agreement, KIGS will offer a 14 Weeks Undergraduate Degree Entry Pathway to students who fall short of A-Level or IB points to meet the University’s minimum entry requirement. This programme is designed to equip students with basic knowledge, skills and exposure of studying the programme. Upon successful completion of the programme, the students will join UTB to undergo their Undergraduate Degree Programme.
