19 August 2020 – Twenty-five participants of Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers underwent a one-day teambuilding activity as part of the 29th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO) which is organised by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) in collaboration with Public Service Department (JPA).
The training that was designed to test participants’ time management, communication, as well as analytical and problem solving skills was co-facilitated by Major Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Head of the Leadership and Management Centre Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces and LTC Shahromey bin Bakri, Directing Staff 2, Command and Staff College, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The participants took part in numerous indoor and outdoor activities such as Kenali Kem Kitani centering on important values such as trust, respect and team spirit, and build on valuable life skills including communication to forge stronger relationship and cohesiveness in a team.
The 29th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO) officially commenced on 18 August 2020 along with the 28th Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers (EDPSGO) that was held at Lecture Theatre 2, Library Complex, UTB.
Both programmes include a blended learning approach comprising of interactive lectures and webinars from both local and international facilitators, study visits, talks, community outreach activities as well as attached at a different working environment for a month. These programmes will be facilitated by experts from various local and international universities and organisations as well as industry practitioners including Ministry of Defence.
