The Cisco Networking Academy in the School of Computing and Informatics provides courses to participants that will help prepare them to sit for exams that can be taken at local certified exam centres in Brunei Darussalam. The courses prepares students for the following certifications:
- CCENT Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician Certification
This is an entry-level certification and is the first half of a two-part CCNA certification process. This certification confirms the ability to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. There are two courses that prepare students with little or no networking knowledge for the CCENT exam.
- CCNA Cisco Certified Networking Associate Certification
This certification confirms the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-sized routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. There are two additional courses that take students beyond the CCENT level to complete the CCNA exam. For students with some experience, the course work adds to skills and builds in-depth knowledge of networking.
